Elrond was told he'd been specifically requested to treat a patient. He didn't know what was wrong, other than there was some sort of illness. But what? He had to find out, as quickly as he could.

He stepped into the room his patient was waiting in and paused before smiling in recognition. Even if the smile was touched with concern, it was a natural reaction and he walked over.

"Good afternoon. What seems to be wrong?"

She'd been sitting quietly in the room, wearing light sweater and jeans, hair pulled back into a neat ponytail as she waited. When she heard the doorknob started to turn, she had to bite back her smile and try to look sick. When he entered though, she did give a little "sick" smile.

"I haven't been feeling too well... I keep feeling cold and hot at the same time." She had spent her time waiting thinking up vague symptoms.

"And I haven't had too much of an appetite." Oddly, symptoms that could also be lovesickness.</s<
