The accent, at least, was easy enough for her to ignore. And what she couldn't, she liked the accent. It was comforting. It felt homely, even though she'd never been across the Sea and probably wouldn't since her mother was banned.

"Music. I like music, the flute particularly. And painting. There are a couple of my paintings in the Hall of Fire."

Arafinwe had hope that he would have his daughter and granddaughter home in time. But until then, he would enjoy this time with them.

"Would you play for me? And I would like to see your paintings." Later. He was in no hurry to stand.

"I would love to. My flute is back up in my room though. And I am quite comfortable at the moment." She laughed lightly, still leaning against him. There was no guarantee that she would get up from that spot in the near future.

"What of you? What do you enjoy?"

"We have time," he responded easily, resting his cheek lightly on the top of her head. "You are much as your mother was." Sweet, spirited, but with a warm heart. He loved her already.

"When I have time?" He rejoined with a smile. "I love to ride, or walk through the gardens. Your grandmother and I do either when we can." Earwen would love this precious child, he knew.

She couldn't help but laugh. Galadriel had told her a few stories, at least, of her youth. And how uncontrollable she could be. Celebrían wasn't sure she was ever that bad.

"We can go for a ride if you like. Elrond's horses all have very good temperaments."

Arafinwe chuckled, having a good idea what caused that laugh. He could certainly see a wild young Celebrian running around barefoot!

"I would love to."

She was reluctant to get up, it was cozy leaning against him, but she stood and took his hands, pulling him with her.

"You may have to bribe the horses though. They are good but you are new. And they are spoiled for treats and attention sometimes." Not her fault, she would deny any such claims. Nobody could prove anything.
